'Islamic Law' in Iraq- from an article on JIHADWATCH.ORG-

As we witness the winding-down of the bloody wrangling over the core concepts that will FORM the Iraqi Constitution, (now lurching toward a signing ceremony, between IED terror and targeted assassinations) instead of the promised U.S. model of guidance -one that would have helped guarantee a 'separation of church and state' style secular Bill of Rights -(one constructed to defend and promote freedom of thought and conscience) the current trend, as encouraged by the Shiite figurehead "Ayatollah Sistani" is toward a document that will produce a state and system more like the current mullah-ocracy in Iran.

A de facto prison camp for infidels.

How can this be changed back into something closer to the original plan- of a "free" country built on the rule of earthly law- before it is too late?
